LA校または東京校の日英実践コース修了生を対象にした特別講座を開催します。ロサンゼルス校の講師が英語字幕作成で見落としやすい点や間違えやすい英語表現について解説。過去のトライアル素材を参考に翻訳原稿を客観的にみるプロセスやブラッシュアップする方法をご紹介します。日英映像翻訳で必要な字幕作成スキルや分析力、英語表現力を見直したい方におすすめです。
This seminar is open to any JVTA students who have finished the Professional J-E Visual Media Translation Course at either the Los Angeles school or Tokyo school. Under the instruction of an instructor from the JVTA Los Angeles school, participants will learn about common mistakes and pitfalls to look out for when translating and creating English subtitles. Using past trial material, the seminar will introduce tips on how to objectively examine and proofread translations. This seminar is recommended for those who want to brush up on their skills in creating, analyzing, and proofreading English subtitles.

【講師プロフィール】
永山南海子 (講師・MTCディレクター)
アメリカ、カリフォルニア州出身。JVTAロサンゼルス校で通訳、実務翻訳、映像翻訳を学んだ後、日英翻訳者としてドキュメンタリーや短編映画、ビジネス系動画の映像翻訳のほかにアニメの台本翻訳など幅広いジャンルで活躍。現在、JVTAメディアトランスレーションセンター(MTC)のディレクターや日英講師を務める。
Namiko Nagayama (Instructor, Translation Project Coordinator)
Born and raised in California, Namiko completed interpretation, business translation, and visual media translation courses at JVTA. As a J-E translator, she has worked on a wide range of materials including documentaries, short films, anime scripts, and corporate videos. Currently, she is a translation project coordinator for JVTA’s Media Translation Center and also teaches classes as a J-E instructor.
